Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms govern your use of tradingoracle.ai and the Trading Oracle service, operated by The Trading Oracle LLC, an Illinois limited liability company ("Trading Oracle," "we," "us").

By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

2. What Trading Oracle is — and what it is not

Trading Oracle is a behavioral coaching and journaling tool. It connects to your brokerage accounts on a read-only basis, records the trades you execute, and asks you questions about your decisions relative to the trading plan you entered yourself.

Trading Oracle is not:

  • A registered investment adviser. We are not registered with the SEC, any state securities regulator, the CFTC, or the NFA.
  • A broker-dealer, futures commission merchant, or introducing broker.
  • A source of financial, investment, tax, or legal advice.
  • A signal service. We do not tell you what to trade, when to enter, when to exit, or what direction any market will move.
  • A trade execution platform. We cannot place, modify, or cancel orders on your behalf, and we never hold or have access to your funds.

Nothing the service produces is a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security, futures contract, or other instrument. The coaching output is automatically generated text based on the rules you entered and the trades you took. It is not the judgment of a licensed professional.

Every trading decision you make is yours alone.

3. Trading risk

Trading futures and other leveraged instruments involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for every investor. You can lose more than your initial investment.

  • Past performance is not indicative of future results
  • We make no representation or warranty that using Trading Oracle will improve your trading results, reduce your losses, increase your profits, help you pass a prop firm evaluation, or help you obtain or retain funding
  • Any figures, screenshots, or examples shown on our website or in the service are illustrative and do not represent typical results or any guarantee of outcome

You are solely responsible for your own trading decisions and their consequences.

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a binding contract. By using the service you represent that you meet these requirements.

5. Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly at support@tradingoracle.ai if you believe your account has been compromised.

One account per person. Don't share access.

6. Subscription and billing

Price. Trading Oracle is a paid subscription. Current pricing is displayed at checkout.

Billing. Payment is processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis until you cancel. We do not store your full card details.

Renewal. Your subscription renews automatically each month at the then-current rate for your plan, unless you cancel before the renewal date.

Failed payment. If a payment fails, we may suspend access until payment succeeds. Repeated failures may result in cancellation.

Price changes. We may change pricing for new subscribers at any time. Existing subscribers will receive at least 30 days' notice before any change affecting their rate.

7. Founding member rate

If you subscribe as a Founding Member, your monthly rate is locked at the price you subscribed at, for as long as your subscription remains continuously active.

What ends the rate lock:

  • Cancelling your subscription
  • A lapse in payment that results in cancellation

If your subscription ends for either reason and you later resubscribe, you'll do so at the then-current standard rate. The Founding Member rate is not transferable to another person or account.

Founding Member availability is limited to the number of seats stated at the time of the offer, and we may close the offer at any time.

8. Cancellation and refunds

Cancel anytime. You can cancel from your account settings or through the Stripe customer portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep access until then.

Refunds. Subscription fees are non-refundable, including for partial billing periods. Because billing is monthly and you can cancel at any time, your maximum exposure is a single month.

We may issue refunds at our discretion — if something goes materially wrong on our end, email us.

We may cancel your subscription at any time for violation of these Terms. If we cancel without cause, we'll refund the unused portion of your current period.

9. Broker connections

Read-only. When you connect a brokerage or prop-firm account, you grant Trading Oracle read-only access to trade and position data. We cannot execute, modify, or cancel orders, and we cannot access or move funds.

Your authorization. You represent that you are authorized to connect any account you link, and that doing so does not violate your agreement with your broker or prop firm.

Data accuracy. We display and analyze the data your broker provides. We are not responsible for errors, delays, gaps, or inaccuracies in that data, or for any broker outage, API change, or connection failure. Trade data may be delayed and should not be relied upon as a real-time record of your account.

Revocation. You can disconnect at any time, from our settings or from your broker's own authorization page.

10. Prop firm rules are your responsibility

If you trade with a proprietary trading firm, you remain solely responsible for complying with that firm's rules — including drawdown limits, position limits, consistency requirements, prohibited strategies, and any restriction on third-party tools.

Trading Oracle does not enforce your prop firm's rules and does not monitor your compliance with them. Any rules the service references are the rules you entered. We are not responsible for any evaluation failure, account breach, funding loss, or payout denial.

Before connecting an account, confirm that your firm permits third-party read-only tools.

11. Your content

You own what you write. Your journal entries, playbook, notes, and conversations remain yours.

You grant us a limited license to store, process, transmit, and display that content solely to operate the service — including transmitting it to our AI provider to generate coaching, as described in our Privacy Policy.

We do not use your content to train AI models, and we do not share it with other users.

12. Our content

The Trading Oracle platform — software, design, text, branding, and the Oracle coaching system — is owned by The Trading Oracle LLC and protected by intellectual property law.

You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, scrape, resell, or create derivative works from the service, or use it to build a competing product.

13. Acceptable use

Don't:

  • Share, resell, or provide access to your account
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' data
  • Scrape, crawl, or automate access outside our intended interface
  • Interfere with or overload the service
  • Upload malicious code
  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose
  • Misrepresent the service's capabilities to others

14. Availability

We aim to keep the service running but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The service may be unavailable due to maintenance, third-party outages, broker API changes, or circumstances outside our control.

Notifications and coaching messages are not guaranteed to be delivered, timely, or complete. Do not rely on Trading Oracle as a risk management system, an alerting system, or a substitute for monitoring your own positions.

15. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the service will be error-free, that coaching output will be accurate or appropriate to your situation, or that using it will produce any particular result.

16. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TRADING ORACLE LLC AND ITS OFFICERS, MEMBERS, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, TRADING LOSSES, LOST DATA, OR LOSS OF FUNDING OR PAYOUT, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

17. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Trading Oracle LLC from any claim, loss, or expense arising from your use of the service, your trading activity, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third party's rights — including any agreement with a broker or prop firm.

18. Termination

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time.

We may suspend or terminate your access for violation of these Terms, non-payment, or conduct that harms the service or other users. Sections 2, 3, 11, 12, and 15 through 20 survive termination.

19. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after that constitutes acceptance. If you don't agree, cancel before the effective date.

20. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.

Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the service will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Cook County, Illinois. You consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts and waive any objection to venue.

21. General

These Terms are the entire agreement between you and The Trading Oracle LLC regarding the service. If any provision is held unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them in connection with a merger or sale.
