Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Trading Oracle is operated by The Trading Oracle LLC, a limited liability company organized in Illinois, United States ("Trading Oracle," "we," "us").

This policy explains what information we collect when you use tradingoracle.ai, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what control you have over it.

We've written this in plain language on purpose. If anything here is unclear, email us at support@tradingoracle.ai and we'll explain it.

2. What we collect

Information you give us

• Account information — your email address and password (stored as a cryptographic hash; we never see your password)
• Your playbook — the strategies, setups, instruments, sessions, entry models, and rules you enter
• Risk settings — per-account limits you configure, such as maximum risk per trade or whether a stop is required
• Journal entries — your written reflections, pre-session bias, mindset selections, and post-session notes
• Conversations — messages you exchange with the Oracle coaching assistant
• Support correspondence — anything you send us by email

Information we receive from your broker

When you connect a brokerage or prop-firm account, we receive:

• Executed trade data — instrument, direction, quantity, entry and exit prices, timestamps, and realized profit or loss
• Open position data — instrument, direction, quantity, entry price, and whether a protective stop is attached
• Account identifiers and balances associated with the connected accounts

These connections are read-only. We cannot place, modify, or cancel orders. We cannot move funds. We cannot access your broker login credentials — authorization happens through the broker's own OAuth flow, and we store only a revocable access token.

Information collected automatically

• Basic technical data such as browser type, device type, and IP address
• Usage information such as pages viewed and features used
• Cookies and similar technologies necessary to keep you signed in

Information we never collect

• Your broker username or password
• Your full payment card number, expiration date, or security code — these go directly to Stripe and never touch our systems

3. How we use it

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your trading data with brokers, prop firms, advertisers, or data brokers.

4. AI processing — please read this section

Trading Oracle's coaching is generated using a large language model provided by Anthropic, PBC.

To generate coaching, we transmit relevant context to Anthropic's API. That context can include:

• Your playbook, rules, and configured risk settings
• Your executed trades and open positions
• Your journal entries and prior conversations with the Oracle

What this means in practice:

• Anthropic processes this data to generate a response and returns it to us
• We use Anthropic's commercial API, under terms that do not permit your data to be used to train their models
• Your data is not shared with other Trading Oracle users
• The coaching you receive is generated text, not the output of a licensed professional

If you are not comfortable with your trading data being processed by a third-party AI provider, do not use Trading Oracle. This processing is not optional — it is how the product works.

5. Who we share it with

We share information only with the service providers necessary to operate:

Each provider receives only what it needs to perform its function.

We may also disclose information where required by law, valid legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Trading Oracle or others. If Trading Oracle is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may transfer as part of that transaction; we will notify you before it becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

6. How long we keep it

• While your account is active — we retain your data so your history, analytics, and coaching context remain intact
• After you delete your account — we delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we're required to retain records for legal, tax, or accounting purposes
• Billing records — retained as required by law, typically seven years
• Backups — deleted data may persist in encrypted backups for a limited period before being overwritten

7. Your rights

Regardless of where you live, you can:

• Access the data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate information
• Delete your account and associated data
• Disconnect any broker connection at any time, from Settings or from your broker's own authorization page
• Export your journal, trade history, and coaching conversations — email us and we'll provide them in a machine-readable format
• Opt out of notifications without affecting your account

If you are in California, the CCPA gives you the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell personal information as defined by the CCPA.

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you additionally have the right to object to or restrict processing, to data portability, and to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

To exercise any of these, email support@tradingoracle.ai. We'll respond within 30 days.

8. Security

We protect your data using:

• Encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest
• Row-level database security so users can only access their own records
• Read-only, revocable broker authorization tokens
• Access controls limiting who on our side can view production data

No system is perfectly secure. If we become aware of a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you without undue delay.

9. Cookies

We use cookies that are strictly necessary to operate the service — primarily to keep you signed in and to maintain your session. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not use third-party cookies to track you across other websites.

If you arrive at Trading Oracle through a partner or affiliate link, a short-lived attribution cookie from our partner-tracking provider, Tolt, records which partner referred you so we can credit them correctly. This cookie identifies the referral source only — it does not carry your name, email, or any trading data, and it is set only when you follow a partner link, not on an ordinary visit.

You can block cookies in your browser, but the service will not function correctly without the essential ones, and partner attribution will not work without the referral cookie.

Website analytics

We measure how our public marketing pages are used, so we can tell which pages work and where people get stuck. This is website measurement only — it is separate from the trading analytics inside the product, which are computed from your own data and are described in §2 and §3.

Who: Vercel Web Analytics, run by our hosting provider.

What is transmitted: the page address, the referring site, and coarse technical information such as browser type, device type and country. Where you arrive from one of our campaigns, the campaign label travels with it. We also record a small number of named events marking anonymous progress through signup and checkout — the name of the step, and nothing else.

What is not: no cookies and no identifier that follows you between visits or between devices. We do not send your name, email address, account identifier, trading data, journal entries, or anything you say to the Oracle. The measurement script runs only on our public marketing pages — it is not present on the signed-in product, and it is not present on any page that carries a sign-in link or security token. Query strings are stripped before anything is sent, apart from campaign labels.

Because this is cookieless and carries no cross-visit identifier, it cannot follow an individual person through the product. It tells us how many people reached a step, not who they were.

10. Children

Trading Oracle is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us and we'll delete it.

11. International users

Trading Oracle is operated from the United States, and your information is processed and stored there. If you access the service from outside the US, you consent to that transfer.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. If we make a material change, we'll notify you by email or in-app before it takes effect. The "last updated" date at the top always reflects the current version.
